About Me

Why am I in Global Studies?

I've found throughout my years in High school, developing a basis of understanding the wider world would prove to be the best way to eventually experience and maintain a balanced and well-informed routine in life. The Global Studies program offered at my school allowed me to dive deeper into that interest. Being involved with clubs, sports teams, involved in my classes, I have slowly been able to introduce new interests in learning to my life. Global studies has permitted me to explore my love for history, while maintaining an investment in the current climate.

Who am I?

My name is Zachary Davis and I am currently a senior at Watkinson High school in Hartford. I play three sports, am an involved member of my communities, and I participate in many extra-curricular activities outside of school. With family and friends I have been traveling around the world since I was young. I use my hobbies and activities as outlooks to attain information about new cultures and places I travel to.

Travel and Service

Since I was young, my family and I have traveled to 3 continents and 10+ new countries. As a high school student, I utilized the service trips offered and attended for the past two years the Dominican Republic Service Trip.
